Privacy Policy

SmartFitSpace ("we", "us") provides an AI-powered training, nutrition and coaching platform. This policy explains what personal data we process when you use the app or this website, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account data: email, display name, language preference.
• Profile & biometrics you choose to provide: age, sex, height, weight, goals, injuries and health flags.
• Training data: rooms and equipment photos you upload, floor plans, workouts, sets, soreness marks, form-check videos.
• Nutrition data: meals, water intake and photos you log.
• Coach conversations: chat with the AI coach and its structured memory about your goals.
• Technical: device type, IP, and minimal logs required to run the service and protect against abuse.

Why we process it

• To generate personalised training plans that fit your room, equipment and health.
• To power the AI coach, form-check and nutrition tracking features you use.
• To sync your data across your devices and provide offline access.
• To secure the service, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.

Legal basis (GDPR)

We rely on performance of contract to deliver the app to you, consent for optional features such as push notifications and marketing emails, and legitimate interests for security and product improvement. Special-category health data is processed only with your explicit consent.

Sharing & subprocessors

We never sell your data. We use a small set of trusted subprocessors:

• Supabase — database, storage and authentication.
• OpenAI — AI coach, form-check and nutrition analysis.
• Google — video generation (Gemini Veo) for exercise animations.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Cloudflare — hosting and edge delivery.

Retention

We keep your data as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your profile, training history, nutrition logs, room photos and coach memory within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Your rights

You can access, export, correct or delete your data at any time from Settings, or by emailing privacy@smartfitspace.com. EU residents have the right to lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority.

International transfers

Data may be processed in the EU and, for AI providers, the US under Standard Contractual Clauses.
